This is the three page handwritten meeting report made by newly appointed La V La Hayward documenting the infamous 1938 meeting. Sims Ely appointed Mrs. Dodge to be Chairman, Mrs. Harris to be Financial Chariman, Mrs. Hayward to be Secretary, and all other participants were made general board members.
Key decisions depicted here include the $1.00 membership cards and the fee of 3 cents a day rental. Note the practice at the time of referring to all women only by their married names
