Different Locations: Adams Blvd.
The shift to this location was a much larger one and required moving vans. A number of the citizens were not happy with the move away from "up-town." While the library moved further from the proximity to Central Market (now out of business) the Credit Union, and City Hall, it did move closer to the schools and ease of use for the students.
Librarians to date to serve as the Director from this location are: Duncan McCoy, Lynn Schofield-Dahl, and Kimberly Diehm.
The library has used DRA, Innovative's Millinium, and Sierra systems since being in this building. Another major project was RFID tagging every item.
The amphitheater has provided an enjoyable atmospher for community building through outdoor concerts and programs.
