A special place
Not every city began as a federal reserve, nor has the average library been started under the supervision of one as iron fisted as Sims Ely, so it is not surprising that the Boulder City Library District has developed a unique culture true to the community. It is a special place and it is and has been supported by its citizenry for decades. Now with the amphitheater, multiple weddngs have been held at the library outdoors in addition to the one at the California Street location so many years ago. People love their library and want to include its character into their ceremonies. The Boulder City Library is woven into the fabric of the community. It is indeed a very special place.
